This c.1933 Tudor Revival House was completely renovated and enlarged with a series of additions. The additions and renovations to the house reconfigured the house to function more efficiently for the new owner’s lifestyle and additional programmatic needs. On the interior the original features and castle like elements were carefully preserved and complemented by the new work. The original service areas of the house were reorganized and enlarged to provide larger more light filled spaces and fulfill the lifestyle requirements of modern family without sacrificing any of the character and detail of the original house. The entire 2 acre site was redesigned and organized with the introduction of a new driveway entrance, front courtyard, service courtyard, pool, gardens and terraces. Careful attention was paid to the design of the additions and all of the exterior and interior materials in order to make the new and renovated portions of the house indistinguishable from the original.
